Bronzey Eyes and Orange Lips!

~Bronze Eyes and Orange Lips!~ 

This makeup look is super fun to do! You can keep the eyes simple with just a bronze shadow and a light brown color in the crease or you can smoke it out with a black shadow like I did. It's totally up to you! I hope you beauties enjoy the tutorial. =)

Products I used:
1) NYX eyeshadow base

2) Wet N' Wild trio in ' I'm Getting Sunburned'

3) Revlon single shadow in the color 'Taupe'

4) Black shadow from the Anastasia Beverley Hills pallet

5) Maybelline's 'The Falsies' mascara

6) Ardell lashes in the style 'Wispies'

7) Mac single shadow in the color ' Vanilla'

8) Ardell eyelash curler & black kohl liner from Benefit

9) Jordana Cosmetics lip liner in 'Tawny' & Milani's lipstick in ' Sweet Nectar'

LETS GET STARTED!

Step #1) As usual, we are going to start out with our face makeup first. I used a bronze blush and then added a little bit of an orange blush over top.

Step #2) Using a flat eyeshadow brush, pack on the bronze shadow. The one I used wasn't very pigmented and I was a little disappointed at first, but I just kept adding color to my lid and it came out just fine.

Step #3) Taking the single shadow in the color Taupe, I buffed it into my crease, somewhat blending it with the bronze I had just put on my lid.

Step #4) This step is optional, but I went ahead and smoked out the look. I took a black shadow and buffed it into the outer corner of my crease, making sure not to go in too far. Taking the black and bronze shadow, I applied the bronze color to the inner corner of my lash line and added the black to the outer corner.

Step #5) Apply your favorite mascara! I always use the same one...

Step #6) Adding false eyelashes is optional. I like to use them to add a little bit of a 'WOW" factor, if you will. I did not use a liquid liner this time. I just used my black shadow and applied it like I would my liquid liner. I winged it out and did everything the same, I just used a different product.

Step # 7) Taking any white shadow, I added it to the inner corner of my eye to brighten it up. I also applied this color to my brow bone, right under my eyebrow and to my cupids bow.

Step #8) We can now curl our lashes. If you're not using false lashes, I suggest curling your lashes before you apply your mascara. Curling your lashes after you've already put on mascara is not good for your lashes. I only apply a small amount of mascara before putting on my falsies so that they are a little darker. I then used my black liner to tight line and applied it to my water line as well.

Step #9) If you don't feel comfortable wearing an orange lip, then you can always go with a nude or whatever you prefer, but I hope everyone tries it out! Try something new and wear a bright lip if you haven't before! =) To line the lips, I used a nude lip liner and then applied the orange lipstick. The lipstick I used goes on really easily, but if yours is a little harder, just take your time and make sure to use a lip liner so your lipstick doesn't 'bleed'.

Dramatic Blue Smokey Eye

Dramatic Blue Smokey Eye! This makeup look is simple to do, but you do have to make sure to blend the shadows really well. You lovely ladies can wear this sexy, dramatic look out for a night on the town! Enjoy the tutorial beauties!

LET'S GET THE TUTORIAL STARTED!


STEP #1) Just like in all of my tutorials, I start out with all my face makeup first and then move on to my eye look. This is just the way I do my makeup, but you ladies can definitely do the face makeup after the eye shadow this time since there might be a little fall out from the black eye shadow we will be using.

STEP #2) We're then going to apply our eye shadow base as we usually do to make sure our shadow stays on throughout the day.

STEP #3) From the pallet by Wet n' Wild, we'll be taking the eye lid color and you guessed it right! We're going to be applying this to our eyelids. Pack on this color with a flat eye shadow brush until it's as bright and vibrant as you want it.

STEP #4) The next pallet I'm going to be using isn't one that you can get from the drug store, unfortunately. I got this amazing pallet at Ulta and it's definitely worth the money in my opinion. We're going to be using the black shadow, but any black color you have handy will do just fine. Taking a crease brush, we're going to be blending this into the crease lightly and carefully. You don't want to look like you have a black eye so be light handed while doing this step. You want to make sure that the black shadow blends nicely with blue color on your lid. So, just take your time and work with the colors, blending back and forth using windshield wiper motions.

STEP #5) We're then going to take a white shadow to highlight our brow bone. Just take a flat eye shadow brush and put it directly under your eyebrow.

STEP #6) Taking any eyeliner you prefer, go ahead and put it on! I used a liquid liner and winged it out. (As usual)

STEP #7) I decided to smoke out the lower lash line as well. I used the same blue color that we used for our lid and put it on the inner half of my lower lash line. I then used the black shadow for the outer half.

STEP #8) I don't have any pictures for the last few steps cause they're pretty self explanatory. After smoking out my lower lash line, I applied my mascara and false lashes. I then curled my lashes and tight-lined. After that, I moved onto my lips! I decided to pair this look with a nude lip. You can use any nude lip liner, lip stick or lip gloss that you prefer! =)

Cut Crease Make Up Tutorial

HEY LADIES! I was inspired to try this eye look by a beauty guru I watch on YouTube, LustreLux. This is what she calls a cut crease. I am obsessed with this look lately, so I figured I would try to replicate it. ENJOY! (P.S- The pictures I have for this tutorial aren't very 'in depth'. I apologize and from now on, I will take pictures that show EXACTLY what I'm doing.)


PRODUCTS~
1) NYX eye shadow base

4) Milani black shadow (you can get this at the drugstore)

5) Mac single shadow in the color 'Vanilla'

6) Wet n Wild Mega Liner (liquid)

8) Ardell Lashes in 'Lacies'

9) Bad gal liner by Benefit

10) NYX lip liner in 'Natural' and Wet n Wild (Fergie Line) lipstick in the color 'Fergie Daily'

LET'S GET IT STARTED!


STEP #1~ We're again, going to start out with our face makeup already done. I have a previous tutorial on a summer friendly face routine that you can check out if you haven't already!

STEP #2~ Take an eye shadow base, I'm using one from NYX, and put that all over your lid up to your brow bone.

STEP #3~ This isn't an eye shadow, but it works all the same! I'm taking my bronzer and applying that into my crease. Using your bronzer or blush works great for shadows if you don't have that particular color =)

STEP #4~ I'm then taking a some what darker brown shadow and applying that to the crease as well. You want to use a smaller crease brush for this because you still want to be able to see the lighter brown (bronzer) color you just applied previously.

STEP #5~ Taking a black shadow (you can use any one you have available to you) you are going to also apply this to the crease, but here's where the 'cut crease' part of the tutorial comes in. Taking an angled brush, you are going to apply this just to the outer part of the crease. You are not taking it all the way into the inner corner of the eye. You want to blend this color SLIGHTLY just so there's no harsh lines.

STEP #6~  Now, we're going to take that white shadow and put that on our lid and under our brow bone for a highlight.

STEP #7~ LINER! You can skip the liner, use gel liner, pencil liner. Whatever you're comfortable using. I used a liquid liner and did a 'wing'.

 STEP #8~ You can now apply your favorite mascara!

 STEP #9~ This step is optional. We all now I LOVE false lashes. LustreLux uses super dramatic lashes in her tutorial, so I figured I'd use dramatic lashes as well. If you'd like to see a false eyelash tutorial on how to apply them and what products I use, comment below! =)

STEP #10~ We can now curl our lashes and tight line. I also applied the black liner to my water line.

STEP #11~ Final step.. LIPS! A nude lip goes great with this dramatic eye look. I used 'Natural' lip liner from NYX to line my lips and for lipstick, I used 'Fergie Daily' from the Fergie line by Wet n Wild.
